Taha Whanau

This term we are learning about Hauora - our Health & Physical Well being. This is how I look after my body and relationships.

Social well being (taha whanau)

I like hanging out with my sisters and mum and dad. Dad and I read books,
mum and I ride horses together. I also like hanging out with my aunties and my
uncle and cousins. Sometimes they take us to parks.

Going to Visit family

When I go to visit family, we go on a plane and car rides. My family lives in
Australia, Masterton, Tauranga and Greece. When we are there we might go
swimming at the beach, or in a pool. Sometimes we can go on horse rides.
Sometimes we go out for dinner.

Friends

My friends we play games like we are animals in the zoo. We also might go for a swim at the beach, or in a pool. If we are having a good time we would ask the adults if we can have a sleepover.

Taha Tinana

Physical well being

I look after my Taha Tinana by signing up for netball and doing the training and
the games that we play. I also help my physical well being by going to dance.
For Taha Tinana I go swimming and do the training for safety.

Food and dinks

We can also take care of our body by eating healthy food, And not eating junk
food. Junk food is bad for you if you eat it every day. Water is good to drink.
To not help your Taha Tinana is eating bad food like this Sugary Drinks.
To be surprisingly correct that most pizza is bad for you.

 Sleepy Sleep

Sleep is good for your Tana Tinana. If you get lots of sleep you won’t be grumpy.
Sleep is good for getting energy.
