In my class we have been doing a Brigade group.  We made horse cookies to fundraise for the Riding Club for the Disabled.  Check out our presentation.

The Chase

We go on Storybird to make stories online. We do it so we can learn how to do some writing. So we don't have to do writing in your book all the time. Here are some poems that we created.  We used short and long words to make our poems more interesting.

Chromebook safety

In room 4 we have been learning to look after our chromebooks.
This leaning safety made me feel happy  because you don't want your chromebook to break.

Buddy Class Hut Building

This term we joined up with our buddy class for an awesome hut building experience! In the first week of Term 1, we read The Treehouse Treaty by Wiremu Grace and created our own class treaty.

We then met with our Room 11 buddies and practiced teamwork, communication, perseverance, and creativity communication skills, as planned out our very own huts.

Next, we used our plans to build our huts out of blocks.

In our last week of the Term, we got the chance to use sheets, blankets and any other bits and pieces we could get out hands on, to make life-size huts! We had such a fun time laughing and smiling while building and creating.
